Description
Thermal Imaging And Selectable Image Modes
The NocPix Ace 2 S60R uses a 12 µm VOx detector with NETD ≤12 mK. Its Dual Clarity function gives you a choice between Motion mode, which prioritises smooth movement when searching, and Still mode, which prioritises image detail when examining a target. Both are accessible through the shortcut menu.
The field of view covers 25.6 × 20.5 m at 100 m, providing scene coverage around the subject. Seven colour palettes and separate adjustments for sharpness, contrast and screen brightness let you configure the presentation. Warm and cool image settings provide further control over how the thermal scene appears.
Ocular Zoom And Viewing Controls
A 2560 × 2560 AMOLED display presents the thermal image through an eyepiece with 60 mm eye relief and a 10 mm exit pupil. Dioptre adjustment from −5 to +4 D allows the display symbols to be focused independently of the observed scene.
The optical magnification range is 2–4×. With Hybrid Zoom enabled, turning the ocular ring adjusts optical and electronic zoom together; disabling it leaves the ring controlling optical zoom alone. Electronic zoom remains independently accessible through the turret controller, with selectable maximum magnification limits of 20×, 24× or 28×. Central turret focusing places scene focus adjustment on the main body of the scope.
Range Measurement And Ballistic Settings
The NocPix Ace 2 S60R integrated Class 1 laser rangefinder supports single and continuous measurements, with a specified range of 1,200 m and ±1 m accuracy. Range data and the ranging reticle can remain visible or disappear after a selected interval, allowing control over the information shown in the sight picture.
Ballistic parameters can be entered on the Ace 2 S60R or through the Nocpix app. Up to eight profiles keep rifle and ammunition settings organised. Preset calculation distances remain available when ranging performance is reduced by severe rain or snow. App tracking uses stored ranging coordinates to display direction and distance to a recorded target position, following compass calibration.
Power Management And Recording
Power comes from a built-in 3,650 mAh battery and a replaceable 3,650 mAh 18650 battery. Maximum operating time is seven hours at 22°C, with actual duration dependent on rangefinder, Wi-Fi and recording use. USB-C charges the internal battery; the removable cell requires a separate charger.
Photos and videos are stored in 64 GB of internal memory, with a gallery for reviewing recordings. Recoil-activated recording offers selectable capture periods before and after the event, reducing reliance on manually starting a recording. Files can be copied to a computer over USB. The housing is rated IP67, with an operating temperature range of −20°C to +50°C.
