Description
Nocpix Bolt H50R Details
The NocPix Bolt H50R sits at the top of the BOLT riflescope range, using a 640×512 thermal sensor with a ≤18mK NETD specification and 60Hz frame rate. Compared with lower-spec BOLT models, the H50R introduces the larger sensor format and extended 2600m detection range while retaining the same traditional 30mm tube layout and integrated laser rangefinder system.
The scope is built around a 50mm F1.0 objective lens paired with a 1024×768 AMOLED display. NocPix specifies a 3–24x magnification range with an 8.8 × 7.0° field of view. The larger sensor and 50mm objective combination place the H50R into the long-range thermal category, suited to open ground observation and longer engagement distances.
Unlike compact-format thermal optics, the Bolt H50R maintains a conventional riflescope profile with a one-piece aluminium alloy construction. The scope incorporates silent button operation for reduced disturbance in field use, alongside a 10mm exit pupil and 50mm eye relief configuration designed to improve viewing comfort during extended observation sessions.
Integrated LRF And Ballistic Functions
The NocPix Bolt H50R features a built-in periscope-type laser rangefinder with a stated ranging distance of up to 1200m. The system supports both single-shot and continuous ranging modes alongside integrated ballistic calculation functions.
NocPix states that the ballistic system is designed to support precise shot alignment during longer-range use. The integrated LRF configuration avoids external modules or rail-mounted add-ons, preserving the traditional riflescope handling characteristics and maintaining overall system compactness.
Thermal Imaging Performance
NocPix specifies a self-developed 640×512, 12μm thermal sensor with a ≤18mK NETD rating and 60Hz refresh rate. The lower NETD specification improves sensitivity to smaller temperature differences, particularly in difficult atmospheric conditions.
The scope also incorporates the NocPix Reality+ image algorithm system, intended to maintain image sharpness and stability across varying environmental conditions. Combined with the 60Hz refresh rate, the platform is designed to deliver smoother image rendering during scanning and target tracking.
The Bolt H50R offers a stated detection range of up to 2600m.
Battery System And Recording Features
Power is supplied through a dual-battery arrangement consisting of an internal 5000mAh battery combined with a replaceable 18650 battery. NocPix specifies up to 9 hours of operating time for the H50R configuration.
The scope supports onboard photo capture, video recording, microphone functionality, and recoil-activated video recording. Seven selectable colour palettes are included, alongside onboard ballistic functions and integrated media recording capability.
The housing is rated to IP67 for environmental protection.
